Watchlist Dec 1, 2011

Great day in the market. We're up nearly 500 points. No big deal, just makin money.

Ok. Here are a few I'm watching. I will post the lengthy list at the bottom of ALL the stocks on radar for tomorrow, but focus on the main picks here.

1. DEXO - Still short from 1.53. If it heads up I'll take my small profit and wait to short again. This bad boy was pumped by SeekingAlpha article HERE They have debt out their eyeballs. As JohnWelsh Said "Put this one in the trash", however, its been a momo play ever since earnings release.

2. TGE - Short biased on a gap up open out of the Bolinger Bands, stochastics overbought... just like my MAGS pick from 29th.

3. VICL - I expect this to come back to about $4.00 range (previous support). No significant news lately to keep this going.

4. JASO - solars were hot today ... see also SOL, HSOL. Last time this bad boy cracked its 20dma, it ran 30+%. Consider a LONG position on open, or on morning pullback. I can see this hitting $1.93 pretty easily, then next stop $2.15

4. AMRI - This stocks kinda beaten down. Got good support at $2.09 and plenty of room to move. $2.43 first stop, $2.71 if were lucky. Nice volume came in today. MACD turning up and RSI oversold pretty much. A hold above $2.28 would signal an entry for me. Not a bad swing trade idea.

5. COOL - looking to swing this if it holds this trendline. Holidays are coming, and sometimes the holidays are crack cocaine for stock...gets em all riled up and goin. RSI consolidated below 50, and MACD turning up. A break of 2.83 will signal to me this one is ready to roll.

Others on watch tomorrow.

Possible Short -

  1. AMCN
  2. FARM
  3. INSP
  4. POZN
  5. VICL
  6. XFN
Possible Long
  1. EEE
  2. IGC
  3. ZOOM
  4. CPST
  5. WRN
  6. AMRI
  7. LTS
  8. ECTE
  9. CSIQ
  10. PPP
  11. SNV
  12. NRF
  13. NTSP

$MCZ

MadCatz, a gaming company, took a crap on my face from earnings a few weeks ago. Lesson #1 is to cut losses, and I failed. I see a good trend line holding here. I would like to see it hold this ascent. No doubt I will have to hold this at least through Christmas.

Still long from .87...yes thats painful...

On the upside, MACD turning up, and higher support has been made at .57.

Watchlist Nov 30, 2011

1. MAGS – Earnings breakout. Watch for a pullback. If this stays out of the Bolinger Bands today, then I will short it Thursday at open for SURE. Otherwise, short on g/r move for a quick day trade. After it consolidates, guaranteed to romp again.

2. CHTP – 45k insider buys on Nov 23. Break of 4.90 can send it up to 5.30 area, and if volume comes in nicely 6.04 is next strong resistance. Short interest is high (20ish days). Earnings historically not good. Volume can squeeze

3. OSUR – Break of the 50dma 8.56ish is bullish confirmation. 9.57 is big resistance. New Hep C test that detects virus in 20 mins… Great attractive news. MACD about to cross here. RSI has room to rumble.

$BIOF and the Kernels of Fuel

What a run on $BIOF right? Nothin like following big brother $PEIX....step-brother that is. No relation. Well, that was fun. Made a quick $2k, left a lot on the table, but you cannot complain about profits.

Reading the recent 10-Q on that bad boy (found here), I discovered some interesting things...

To start, I found this kind of disturbing...
"During the three and nine months ended September 30, 2011, the Company recorded sales to Cargill representing 85% and 90%, respectively, of total net sales."
So...I honestly don't know 100%, but to me it sounds like Cargill is basically their backbone. Well, that wouldn't be such a bad thing...unless you consider this:

It seems Cargill, who was once a 10% owner of the company has dropped out of that rank...

Exactly 2,341,979 share have been dumped by Cargill in NOVEMBER alone, totaling 2,347,100 since July. He was issued 6,597,790 shares by BIOF to cover debts. Of those shares he has 4,255,811 left to sell. Of his total stock count, which according to Yahoo.com is 10,146,086 as of Nov. 14th is now 9,007,486 because of his sale of 1,138,600 shares on Nov 14th.

So he now has 9,007,486 shares left. Any idea how many will be left before the year is over?
